Delivery Van Driver

Job description

We are an independent family business established for over 30 years. Based in Hemel Hempstead we are close to links directly into London and surrounding areas, Come and join our friendly team of drivers who have all been with us for approx. 20 years. We are proud to be one of the main suppliers of Fixing and Support Systems to the Construction Industry. You will need to be smart and polite as you will be the face of our Company delivering direct to our customers.

The Role

• You will be driving a new VW Crafter, taxed, insured and fully maintained with fuel provided.
• 10-20 drops a day to our regular sites mainly in City of London
• You will be provided with our Uniform and safety equipment.
• Daily walkaround Vehicle Checks to be conducted to ensure your safety
• Full training given to meet our FORS Silver accreditation including on-line courses and regular eyesight and health checks.
• Mobile communication and trackers in vehicles

Experience & Qualifications

• Good Knowledge of City of London - Advantage
• Clean Driving Licence preferred (3 points may be considered)
• Fork Lift Licence/Experience - Advantage
• Experience of FORS Silver driving standards – Advantage
• References will be required
